PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging cord housing device for an electric wheelchair by which the durability is improved and a fitting position can be changed simply by housing a cord reel in a case. SOLUTION: In the charging cord housing device 1 provided with the cord reel 4 for energizing a charger (not shown in the figure) for charging the battery of the electric wheelchair 61, the code reel 4 is housed in a case 2 which is opened upward and provided with a code lead-out port 7 for leading out a charging code 5 with a plug 35 and a wire take-out port 10 for leading out a wire 36 at a side part and is insert-held and fixed between a cover 3 covering the opening part of the case 2 and the case 2.
