PIPE CONNECTING DEVICE FOR COOKING POT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a cooling pot to be smoothly tilted when tilting, without causing its tilt to be malfunctioned by automatically releasing the connection between an anchored pipe and a liquid-release pipe. SOLUTION: The cooking pot, tiltable around a horizontal axis as a center, is connected to the liquid-release pipe 4 penetrating the bottom thereof, and also at the lower portion of the cooking pot 1 there is the anchored pipe 5 disposed therein in such a manner as to allow its end to be turned upward. The liquid-release pipe 4, quipped with a switch valve 7, as being inserted therein, also has a pressing member 14 attached to the edge thereof. Further, at the end of the anchored pipe 5 there is a cylindrical pipe-grab body 6 arranged therein to freely open or shut by allowing itself to separably move rightward and leftward, resting its pivot on the support axis 10. Operation members 13a, 13b are secured, each as being solidly integrated, to each of respective semi-cylindrical open-and-shut units 9a, 9b constituting the pipe-grab body 6, each disposed on both sides thereof, thus allowing itself to thereby obtain access to a moving orbit of the pressing member 14, and simultaneously a spring 11 is so linked to each of respective open-and-shut units 9a, 9b as to thereby allow the pipe-grab body 6 to take its position, at all times, toward the open direction. As the cooking pot recovers itself from the slanting position to its normal one, the pressing member 14 is thus caused to push the operation members 13a, 13b to thereby allow the pipe-grab body 6 to be shut.
