<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a school knapsack which enables the easy reinforcement of both lower corners of a front shell pocket part of the knapsack body. SOLUTION: On both lower corners of a front shell pocket 10 of a knapsack body 9, there are a vertical plate 2 and a horizontal plate 3 that lies continuously to the lower end of the vertical plate 2 and crossing it at a right angle. From the horizontal plate 3, a bendable skirt part 6 is extended vertically downward, consisting of the inner half 6b and the outer half 6a that stretches outwards from the vertical plate 2 and is made perpendicular to the outer half 6b. A sheet of leather reinforcement 1 having a nail 7, vertically bendable and separated from the vertical plate 2 by a cut 8, is continuously provided above the outer half 6a. The leather reinforcement 1 is folded to be three- dimensional and placed over the pocket, with all the edges of the vertical plate 2, and the horizontal plate 3, and the nail that is folded inwardly on the vertical plate side being aligned with the front part 10a at both corners in the lower front shell pocket part 10 of the knapsack body 9, and also with the edge of the inner half 6b in the skirt part 6 being aligned with the bottom part 10b at the corner, as well as with the edge of the outer half 6a in the skirt part 6 being aligned with the side part 10c at the corner to fix respectively.</p> |
