The moulded blocks are fed in a predetermined sequence into compartments in two vertical shafts. They start at the foot of the first shaft, and are moved stepwise to its top, where they are pushed over the second shaft in which they descent stepwise. At the bottom they are ejected for further processing. Air at suitable temp. is circulated through the shafts. The total storage time of each block is thus determined by the height of the shafts and the number of compartments.
