PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent side leakage from around legs or the longitudinal leakage from a waist. SOLUTION: A root side 23 in an erecting segment of a barrier cuff 20 is made leak-proof by embedding or closing the gaps among fibers, by which the leakage of urine, soft feces, etc., is prevented. The front end side thereof is made air permeable, by which sweatiness is prevented and good texture is obtained.
