A laparoscopic loop device for sue in laparoscopic surgery is disclosed. The device comprises a handle (1) with manipulating ring (2) and a threadable extension, onto which the base (4) of the loop (5) is coupled. The loop (5) consists of a thin metallic stainless wire partially covered by a layer 7 followed by the non covered wire (6), which is formed distally as a flexible elliptical loop (8) with a guiding end (9). The loop (5) is guided through an axial channel of a cylindrical body (10), which body (10) is provided with a transversal bore (11) into which a locking screw (12) for the covered loop wire is screwed. A flexible plastic duct (13) is connected to the distal end of the cylindrical body (10) for guiding the loop (5). Said plastic duct (13) can be introduced in a conventional intravenous plastic catheter (16). The main purpose of said laparoscopic loop device is to render the surgical process briefer, safer and simpler. |
