The invention relates to a method for producing expanded plastic objects, whereby a thermoplastic material is mixed with a foaming agent which produces CO2, and the mixture is moulded in a moulding tool. The moulding is carried out in a vacuum in the tool and in the presence of compressed air inside the tool. The invention relates to a CO2-generating foaming agent comprising at least the following constituents: sodium hydrogen carbonate, monosodium citrate and a solid acting as a nucleation agent, the particle size of the individual constituents being smaller or equal to 40 mu m. |
