The sheet holder uses an electrostatic field generator having an electrode (2) that extends over the width of an impression roller (GD) to produces an electrostatic field which holds a sheet of paper against the roller. To reinforce this electrostatic holding action, jets of air are forced through perforations in tubes (3,4) and a box (5), which also extend over the width of the roller. |
