WIRED/WIRELESS INTERWORKING CHATTING GATEWAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A wired/wireless interworking chatting gateway system is provided to compatibly perform an on-line chatting irrespective of a protocol type of a terminal by wire or wirelessly by broadcasting on the basis of the message in the currently chatting if the terminal of the other party is a wired one, or converting the chatting message fitting a protocol of a receiving terminal in requesting the terminal of the other party in case of a wireless terminal and transmitting the updated message, after receiving and storing the chatting message form the wired or wireless terminal. CONSTITUTION: A message receiving module receives a chatting message from a transmitting terminal and recognizes a protocol type of the transmitting terminal. A cash managing module(11) receives the chatting message from the message receiving module(10) and determines whether a content stored in a cash is to be transmitted or new information is to be updated and transmitted. An intermediate processing DB(12) receives the chatting message and stores it in a frame unit. A chatting engine(13) handles a transmission of a data between each module, a system state control or monitoring. A chatting server(14) identifies a chatting between wireless terminals and a chatting between a wireless and a wired terminal and handles a chatting between a wireless or wired terminal. A protocol converting module(19) converts to a language supported by each receiving terminal. A message output module(24) receives the chatting message newly requested from the wired terminal of the other party and directly transmits it. A mobile Web server(25) transmits an updated chatting message whenever there is a request from the wireless terminal of the other party.
