SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND ANALYZING WEB LOGS

PURPOSE: A system and a method for extracting and analyzing web logs are provided to achieve real-time analysis for a web site by extracting and analyzing log information in real time and storing it in a DB after filtering and cleansing. CONSTITUTION: A system for extracting and analyzing web logs consists of a log agent filter(20), a meta DB(40), a manager program(60), and a DB server(50). The log agent filter(20) extracts and analyzes logging information at a web server(30) in real time. The meta DB(40), connected with the log agent filter(20), stores log filtering and cleansing information and user state information. The manager program(60) manages the setup of the meta DB(40) and the log agent filter(20). The DB server(50) stores the logging information extracted and analyzed by the log agent filter(20).
