PURPOSE: A method and system for managing digital broadcasting contents data using an ADF(Application Definition File) is provided to efficiently and systematically manage and maintain contents provided together with broadcasting programs. CONSTITUTION: A user collects digital broadcasting contents data in the form of an application(101). The user defines an ADF according to the characteristics of each contents comprised in the application(102). Then the user inputs the designed ADF and the application to a server(103). The server processes the application according to the contents recorded in the inputted ADF(104).
