DEVICE FOR FIXING LUMBAR VERTEBRAE

PURPOSE: A device for fixing the lumbar vertebrae is provided to prevent the fixing device from seceding from a gap between the bones composing the lumber vertebrae. CONSTITUTION: The device for fixing the lumber vertebrae is comprised of a body(10) to be inserted into a gap between the bones composing the lumber vertebrae to maintain the gap between the bones; and a nail(20) having a sharp cone portion(21). The sharp cone portion is rotatable from a first position that the cone portion is lying on the body to a second position that the cone portion stands on the body. The cone portion is inserted between the bones when the cone portion is rotated to the second position, thereby it is possible to effectively prevent the fixing device from seceding between the bones of the lumber vertebrae.
