PURPOSE: A process of preparing the titled fermented bean paste by mixing powdered green tea with steamed bean and fermenting the obtained fermented bean blocks is provided. Whereby, the bean paste has an effect on reducing blood and cholesterol and preventing diabetes and can be stored for a long time without deterioration thereof. CONSTITUTION: Leaves of green tea obtained from drying under the dark after fermentation are cut to 10 mesh or less, mixed with steamed bean in a ratio of 4 to 2 parts:6 to 8 parts to produce fermented bean blocks, which are heated at 35 to 45deg.C, dried for 10 to 12 days to reduce a moisture content of the fermented bean blocks to 1/3 and then dried under sunlight to reduce to 1/2. Saline water with 16 to 18 Baume is mixed with the fermented bean blocks in a ratio of 1:1 and aged under sunlight for 6 months.
