PURPOSE: A burner of a direct combustion type gas heater is provided to maximize heat efficiency by completely burning a combustion gas, to reduce the discharge of noxious gases, and to avoid a fire by restraining the combustion place. CONSTITUTION: A first combustion chamber(6) is formed in cylindrical body(4). A connecting pipe(10) having a flange(8) is formed at a side of the cylindrical body. The connecting body is connected with a gas burner. Many auxiliary pipes(12) having second combustion chambers(14) are formed at the other side of the connecting body. The first combustion chamber and the second combustion chambers are communicated to each other. Many through holes(16) are formed on the front faces of the auxiliary pipes. The gas injected from a gas burner(20) is firstly burned in the first combustion chamber. The combustion heat is transferred to and burned in the second chambers. Therefore, complete combustion is realized.
