PURPOSE: A physical distribution reverse/intermediation method using the Internet is provided so that vehicle owners can freely offer their bids after searching for suitable freight on the Internet using WAP phones and consignors can find out the optimum vehicles after searching for real-time empty carriage information on the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A consignor accesses a web server and executes log-in(101). The web server fetches empty carriage information from an empty carriage information DB and provides it to the consignor(103). In case that the consignor checks empty carriage information and selects a desired vehicle(105), the web server notifies the vehicle owner of it(107). If the consignor registers freight information, instead of selecting a vehicle(109), the web server stores freight information in a freight information DB(111). A vehicle owner accesses the web server and executes log-in(201). The web server fetches freight information from the freight information DB and provides it to the vehicle owner(203). In case that the vehicle owner checks freight information and selects desired freight(205), the web server notifies the consignor of it(207). If the consignor registers empty carriage information, instead of selecting freight(209), the web server stores it in the empty carriage information DB(211). If the consignor selects auction registration(113) and the vehicle owner selects auction bidding(213), an auction is executed by the registered freight information and the empty carriage information(301). The web server transmits an auction result to the vehicle owner(303,305) and stores the result in a vehicle owner member information DB(307).
