MICROWAVE OVEN AND CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A microwave oven and a control method are provided to stabilize a circuit by controlling a conversion control signal. CONSTITUTION: A microwave oven consists of a power supply unit(7) supplying normal alternating power, a rectifying and smoothing unit(8) rectifying and smoothing the normal alternating power, a high voltage transformer generating high voltage by direct current power from the rectifying and smoothing unit, and a magnetron(25) generating electromagnetic waves with high voltage from the high voltage transformer. Further, the microwave oven contains a signal generating unit(26) for a reference control signal, an inverter unit(30) converting the reference control signal to high frequency alternating power, and a control unit(40). The control unit controls voltage for the magnetron by dragging a control signal converted by the inverter unit, into the allowable limit of a reference control signal. Thus, the converted control signal out of the allowable limit is prevented from being inputted to a circuit and then the circuit and a system are stabilized.
