PURPOSE: A lock switch for a power window is provided to selectively perform a catching/releasing of an operation knob by horizontally moving a cam when the operation knob is vertically moved. CONSTITUTION: A housing(30) has an opened upper part, a first elastic material, and forms a first guide groove to one side. An upper cover(50) has a terminal member to one side, forms a second guide groove to the opposite side, a knob hole to an upper center, and is fixed to the upper part of the housing. An operation knob(40) is positioned in the housing and the upper cover, supported by the first elastic member, mounts a contact point terminal to one side, forms a projected piece to the opposite side, and is coupled to the knob hole. A cam(60) adjacent to the projected piece forms a cam rail for alternately performing a catching and a releasing, a first guide projection and a second guide projection that are slide-coupled to the first guide groove and the second guide groove.
