PURPOSE: A structure for protecting wearing of oilfree linear actuator is provided to reduce abrasion between the cylinder and piston, while reducing manufacturing procedures and cost. CONSTITUTION: An oilfree linear actuator includes a casing(1) having a cylinder(C); a driving motor(2) mounted in the casing, and which generates a linear driving force; a driving shaft(3) coupled to a mover(2B) of the driving motor, and which is supported by an upper spring(5) and a lower spring(6) fixed to the casing, so as to reciprocate in a linear fashion; and a piston(10) coupled to the driving shaft, and which forms a bearing surface together with the inner periphery of the cylinder, and sucks and compresses a fluid while reciprocating in a linear fashion. The piston has a coating layer(11) formed at an outer periphery of the piston, wherein the coating layer is formed of CrN, TiN, diamond-like carbon and tungsten carbide.
