Stackable and nestable ice cube trays are disclosed which produce ice, similar in shape to normal ice cubes. The stacking and nesting feature is made possible by providing arcs, transverse of the tray. The arrangement of freezing compartments with arc shaped front and rear surfaces allows substantial nesting of the trays for storage, packaging, shipment, and sale, and allows stacking of the trays when they are used to produce ice in a freezer.
