DRAIN DEVICE OF STARTER MOTOR FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A drain device of a starter motor for a vehicle is provided to improve draining efficiency by installing upper and lower counterflow preventing drain panels across to each other and to reduce the man-power due to die casting. CONSTITUTION: In a starter motor, a drain device is installed in a housing. A drain device consists of counterflow preventing drain panels(110) having drain holes(111). The counterflow preventing panels are installed at upper and lower portions of a hole of the housing across to each other. The drain holes of are formed across to each other. The counterflow preventing panel consists of a disk unit(112) fixed in the hole of the housing or a placing part and a triangular prism arrangement determining protrusion(113) placed in an arrangement determining recess. The moisture in the housing is drained through the drain holes while the invasion of the water from the lower portion is restrained by the position of the drain holes.
