PURPOSE: A lock apparatus is provided to be unnecessary for exchanging a padlock when losing a key, to use advantages of mechanical and electronic locking apparatuses, and to control the padlock using a communication equipment. CONSTITUTION: A user(100) sends a call number of a communication chip(105) in a door managing unit(102) using a wire/wireless communication equipment, and the call number passing through a communication relay center(101) is received by the communication chip(105). The communication chip(105) is switched into a communication mode, which is recognized by a microprocessor(106). A memory device(107) stores control signal information from the communication equipment of the user. A locking means(103) comprises a plurality of padlock frames, which are exchanged by a padlock exchange unit(104). The locking means(104) and the exchange unit(104) are connected to the microprocessor(106), which exchanges a specific padlock of the locking means by controlling the exchange unit. A sensor(108) reads information of a magnetic card or smartcard information embedded in a key that is inserted in the locking means(103). The microprocessor(106) generates a signal for opening a door in response to information sensed and read through the sense and read unit(108).
