PURPOSE: A handle of a handiwork tool is provided to avoid breakage of a handle when a strong external shock is applied and to maximize durability and reliability by forming a completed handle having a tool insertion part and a neck part. CONSTITUTION: Wood is cut by specific thickness and length, and a hole(2') having diameter of 4-8mm and length of 100-200mm is formed in the wood. A metal bar(2) is inserted to the hole. Thus, a handle material(1a) is prepared. The handle material is impregnated in phenolic resin or urea resin in a vacuum chamber(3), and then hardened at 135-145deg.C of temperature. Thus, a half-completed handle product(1b) is prepared. An insertion part(4) is formed at the front end of the half-completed product, and a neck part(5) is formed behind the insertion part. Phenolic resin or urea resin reinforces tensile strength, hardness and elasticity of the material, integrates the metal bar with the handle, and smoothens the surface.
