PURPOSE: Structure of a double folding rear seat for a vehicle is provided to enhance convenience and performance by adopting a single recliner and a locking knob and to reduce the production cost and weight by compacting the structure of a double folding rear seat. CONSTITUTION: In a double folding rear seat, a folding lever(19) is formed at a side of a rear seat(18). At least two of cables are extended from the folding lever and connected to a single recliner(21) and a locking knob on the side of a seat back(14). Locking brackets(25) to fix the locking knob are installed on a rear quarter inner trim(23) and a rear door trim(24) in the use of the rear seat. The locking knob consists of a housing, a locking pin(27), and a spring. The single recliner is placed opposite to the folding lever and the locking knob. The single recliner is unlocked with the locking knob by the folding lever. According to the use of the single recliner, the production cost and weight are reduced. Since the rear seat is folded by simple folding lever manipulation, the convenience in folding work is promoted.
