The holder for books and newspapers on a beach or in swimming baths in town is adjustable in length and width and is easy to use both on the ground and in a lounger bed. It has bars (1,2) adjustable in height, so that the holder can be made shorter or longer. On the bars are points (3), with which the bars, during height and width adjustment, can be fixed. Horizontal bars (4,5) are adjustable in width. Clips (6,7) are provided for securement of a book or newspaper on the side edge or above and below.
