PURPOSE: Provided is a process for producing a beer stone dissolving agent for removing or preventing effectively beer stone or beer scale generated on the inner surface of a beer container, which is weak alkali and non-hazardous for human bodies. CONSTITUTION: The beer stone dissolving agent for removing the beer stone is produced by mixing 15-40wt% of sodium citrate and 85-60wt% of purified water and then adding optionally sodium gluconate and gluconic acid lactone to the mixture in order to prevent the corrosion of the beer container and the generation of the beer stone.
