<p>PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing the contents through the Internet are provided to make a portable wireless terminal receive the contents in an optimal state by processing the contents and to easily pay the charge for the provided contents. CONSTITUTION: The system connects to the portable wireless terminal(30) and a plurality of web servers(40) providing the contents through the Internet(20). The system transmitting the contents provided from the web server to the portable terminal and processing the payment of the contents charge includes a user information database(11), a certification server(12), a billing server(13), an advertisement server(14), a data server(15) and a payment information database(16). The user information database stores the information for the user registered as a member receiving a contents providing service. The payment information database stores the payment information for the contents charge provided to the portable terminal. The certification server judges that the user information provided from the portable terminal is stored in the user information database.</p> |
