PURPOSE: A device and method for making blade holes on rotor shaft using milling machine is provided which makes a plurality of blade holes on the rotor shaft without using of an exclusive equipment. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for making blade holes on rotor shaft comprises a main plate(20) which is fixed to a bed(10) of a milling machine, in which bearings(26,28) are interposed, and which is equipped with mounts(23,25), wherein the rotor shaft(50) is rotationally supported to the mounts(23,25); a chuck fixing stand(38) which is installed on the main plate(20) so as to support one end of the rotor shaft(50) through a chuck(40); a tail stock(32) which is installed movably in a length direction on the main plate(20) so as to support the other end of the rotor shaft(50); an index(46) which is fixed to one end of the main plate(20) so as to control an angle of rotation of the rotor shaft(50); a first dividing plate(52) on the circumferential surface of which a plurality of dividing grooves are formed so that the rotor shaft(50) is rotated to certain degrees of an angle; a dividing plate fixture(60) and a second dividing plate fixture which temporarily releases the fixed state of the first dividing plate(52) during operation of the index(46) so as to enable rotation of the rotor shaft(50); and a second dividing plate which is arranged adjacently to the mounts(23,25) so as to check the dividing angles through a dial gauge(80).
