PURPOSE: A method of preparing a nonflammable fabric by spinning a nonflammable material and a methacrylic yarn in a specified ratio and then weaving in a crepe is provided. Whereby, the fabric has nonflammability without either dyeing or processing treatment, creates a high-class two tone effect and is useful for office furniture. CONSTITUTION: An acrylic staple fiber having a single fineness of 5 denier and a fiber length of 76mm and a methacrylic staple fiber having a single fineness of 5 denier and a fiber length of 76mm are spun with a polyester staple fiber to produce a mixed spun yarn. The mixed spun yarn is woven to produce fabric with characteristics of a crepe texture.
