PURPOSE: A Bi-potential(BIP) mask type cathode ray tube is provided, which can realize a stable screen quality by supplying a differential voltage to a phosphor screen and a shadow mask stably. CONSTITUTION: The Bi-potential mask type cathode ray tube includes a phosphor screen(10) supplied with a screen voltage, an electron gun(14) emitting an electron beam toward the phosphor screen, a funnel(4) connecting a face panel(2) with a neck part(6), and a shadow mask(16) forming an acceleration electric field between the phosphor screen by receiving a mask voltage as maintaining an insulation state with the phosphor screen. The cathode ray tube comprises a mask stem pin to supply the mask voltage to a stem additionally, and supplies the mask voltage to the shadow mask through the mask stem pin and an anode(G4) of the electron gun and an embedded graphite film(24) by providing a voltage applying member connecting the mask stem pin with the anode of the electron gun.
