PURPOSE: A process of preparing a therapeutic agent for burns by using a medicinal plant such as Rubia cordifolia L. as a main component and aloe vera is provided. Whereby, the agent reduces the treatment time by 1/3 and inhibits scar tissue formation during healing. CONSTITUTION: About 5% by weight of aloe vera and 5% by weight of a sea tangle are heated at 100deg.C or more for 1.5 hr and then the extracted solution is mixed with 90% by weight of Rubia cordifolia L. The mixture is heated at 100deg.C or more for 1.5 hr.
