PURPOSE: A temperature controller of a refrigerator is provided to adjust temperature of the refrigerator by calculating driving hours of the refrigerator with detecting the opening angle of a door and opening time, and to regulate cool air by calculating calorific value in the refrigerator or a freezer with installing a surrounding temperature detector. CONSTITUTION: A temperature regulator of a refrigerator is composed of a hinge(40) combined with a refrigerator body(1) to turn; a switch detecting the opening angle of a door in opening the door; a surrounding temperature detector(130) installed out of the refrigerator; and a microcomputer receiving signals from the switch and the surrounding temperature detector, calculating inflow of heat based on the opening angle of the door and opening time according to temperature surrounding the refrigerator and adjustable resistance, and controlling a compressor and a fan. The door is hinge-combined with the refrigerator, and the surrounding temperature detector is installed in the body of the refrigerator. The switch is contacted to a varistor according to the opening angle of the door. The opening angle of the door and opening time are detected with the varistor, and the calorific value is calculated. Cool air is regulated according to the output value, and the temperature of the refrigerator is controlled.
