The 5-substituted-3-oxadiazolyl-1,6-naphthyridin-2(1H)-one derivative has the formula (I), wherein: Het is an oxadiazolyl group; R1 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, trifluoromethyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkoxyalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heteroaromatic; R2 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylmethyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, alkynyl, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heteroaromatic. Also described is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of formula (I) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent.
