PURPOSE: To provide insulator porcelain which can be obtained by low temperature calcination, has small relative dielectric constant and excellent high frequency characteristics, and can be obtained by sintering with a material having high coefficient of thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION: The insulator porcelain is obtained by mixing and calcining MgAl2O4 ceramic material and borosilicate glass. In the porcelain, the MgAl2O4 crystal phase and at least one of Mg3B2O6 crystal phase and Mg2B2O5 crystal phase are crystallized as the main crystal phase.
