PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image generation system which can generate three-dimensional images of high picture quality including as a starting picture one arbitrary image in a photographed image sequence. SOLUTION: Three-dimensional images are generated by estimating a three- dimensional shape using not only time-series images which succeed with the time, but also images which do not succeed with the time by using a method for tracing which decides one arbitrary image in the photographed image sequence as a starting image and specifies a feature point (window) of an object of interest in the image. Feature point coordinates (three-dimensional shape data) in a three-dimensional space corresponding to feature points in two-dimensional images can securely be estimated and the camera movement (attitude and relative position) when two-dimensional images are photographed can securely be estimated by using a corrected feature point data sequence.
