The cap (11) has a valve arrangement (15) to open or shut flow connections according to three threshold levels of radiator inner pressure. The valve arrangement has a single valve body (17), which is spring-biased towards the radiator interior against a first sealing seat (34) on the cap interior. A first axial sealing surface arrangement (20) co-ordinates with an axial seal seat (34) surrounding a defined opening (32) connecting to the container interior on a cap inner part (14). A second radial sealing surface arrangement (21) co-ordinates with a first radial counter sealing surface (62) having a U-shaped throttle channel (39), for a first flow connection and a second radial counter sealing surface (61) having a safety relief opening (69) for a second flow connection.
