OPTICAL DISK UNIT AND ROTATION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk unit and a rotation control method by which target rotational frequency follow-up properties is improved and setting parameters for rotation control is greatly decreased. SOLUTION: An optical disk rotation controller which controls the rotating speed of an optical disk 1, has a rotation control circuit 4a which controls a motor driving circuit 3 driving a disk motor 2 rotating the optical disk 1 and an approximate line extraction processing part 5 which finds the setting parameters for rotation control such as the rotation servo gain of the rotation control circuit 4a as linear approximate straight line parameters.
