PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to realize backup of an open system in a short time. SOLUTION: In the system to perform the backup in an external storage device for backup by using a server exclusive for backup, an operating system capable of directly reading between a data base and the server exclusive for backup without restriction of the operating system and without file conversion is interposed. The system can perform the backup of the data base in the external storage device to perform the backup by unit of volume in a short time. |
