摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sharp increase of an input voltage to a charger, to reduce the loss in the charger, and to enable high-efficiency conversion, even if a generator whose voltage variation is large is used. SOLUTION: This is a charger system for charging a secondary battery 6 using a generator 1 whose voltage variation is large, and is provided with a charging current control means 5 which performs constant-current charging of the secondary battery by the output of the generator 1 and has a constant- current-value change-over circuit, an overvoltage suppressing means 4 which suppresses the output voltage of the generator, and a voltage detecting control means 3 which detects the output voltage of the generator 1 and controls the control means 5 and the suppressing means 4 according to the detected voltage. The detecting means 3 detects a first voltage and a second voltage higher than the first voltage, controls the control means 5 so as to increase current when the output voltage of the generator is not lower than the first voltage, and controls the suppressing means 4 so as to suppress the output voltage when the output voltage is not lower than the second voltage.
