PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum plated steel sheet for a fuel tank improved in galling resistance by satisfactorily maintaining the slidability of a material into a press die and excellent in formability and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In this aluminum plated steel sheet, the surface of the steel sheet is successively formed with an Al-Si plated layer with a layer thickness of 8 to 20μm containing 5 to 13% Si, a resin film with a film thickness of 0.1 to 5.0μm and an oil film having the coating weight of 0.1 to 3.0 g/m2. The resin film is formed by applying and baking an urethane, acrylic, polyester or epoxy resin, if requird, blended with 1 to 25% synthetic resin powder. As the oil film formed on the resin film, lubricating oil obtained by suitably blending a rust preventive, viscous agent, an acid neutralizer, a clarifying water dispersant or the like into base oil such as petroleum mineral oil is used. The viscosity of the oil film is preferably controlled to 1 to 40 cSt (40 deg.C).
