PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure for an electronic component in which the tightening operation of a latch is performed from a direction perpendicular to a printed-circuit board and the tightening operability of the latch can be enhanced. SOLUTION: The fixing structure is provided with the printed-circuit board on which a mounting component is installed, a heat dissipating member which is mounted on the printed-circuit board by erecting its wall surface so as to be close to the mounting component, the electronic component which is attached to the wall surface of the heat dissipating member, a holding member which is fixed to the wall surface of the heat dissipating member and which comprises a guide, the latch which is installed at the holding member by directing its axial line toward the printed-circuit board and which is composed of an external thread, a movable piece which screws the tip side of the latch to one end of it, which faces the wall surface and which comprises a slide part tilted with reference to the axial line, and a fixed piece wherein a part to be slid which comes into contact with the slide part of the movable piece is installed and a part which is guided by the guide part is installed. The electronic component is fixed to the wall surface of the heat dissipating member via the fixed piece.
