PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for solving the problems that conventionally HW quantity increases, when the number of extended slots is increased in an extended slot hot plug controller, that a bus has to be made to be in a standby state whenever an extended card is added or eliminated a plurality of times and the bus performance accordingly decreases, and that an extended slot hot plug controller is needed in every bus and the HW quantity is increased in a system having a plurality of buses. SOLUTION: A bus selector is provided on the post stage of a control register, an extended slot selector for allocating a control signal from a control circuit on the post stage of the bus selector to extended slots is provided, hot plug control over a plurality of buses can be performed, without having a plurality of extended slot hot plug controllers, a control register and a control circuit do not have to be provided for every extended slot any longer, and hot plug control can also be performed to a plurality of extended slots at the same time.
