PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which the fluctuation of irradiation positions due to an environmental change can be suppressed and the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the image forming device which is provided with a light source, a deflector (deflecting means) 500 which deflects a light beam radiated from the light source by the rotation, return mirrors 503a through 503d which deflect light beams LC, LM, LY, and LBK which are deflected by the deflector 500, image carriers 1C, 1M, 1Y, and 1BK which are irradiated with the light beams LC, LM, LY, and LBK which are deflected by the return mirrors 503a through 503d, scanning lenses 504a through 504d and 505a a through 505d for forming images of the light beams LC, LM, LY, and LBK deflected by the deflector 500 on the image carriers 1C, 1M, 1Y, and 1BK, the plural light beams LC and LM (1Y and 1BK) are deflected by the single deflector 500, and a return mirror is arranged in an optical path in which the single light beam LC (LM, 1Y, 1BK) deflected by the deflector 500 reaches the image carrier 1C (1M, 1Y, 1BK).
