摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a regenerator at a highest efficient operation point throughout a wide load range, to reduce a fuel consumption amount of a gas turbine throughout a wide load range, and to constantly maintain an exhaust gas temperature at a target value in regard to the characteristics change of the gas turbine. SOLUTION: A two-axle regeneration gas turbine comprises a gas generator 14 coupled directly to a compressor 10 and driven by combustion gas from a combustor 12; an output gas turbine 16 coupled to a load 22; a variable nozzle 30 situated at the inlet of the output gas turbine 16; and a regenerator 24 situated between a compressor 10 and the combustor 12. Through combination of schedule control of a variable nozzle opening by the number of revolutions of a gas generator shaft 18 and feedback control of an exhaust gas temperature, the opening of the variable nozzle 30 is controlled, and the temperature of exhaust gas of the output turbine 16 is controlled so that the temperature of exhaust gas introduced in the regenerator 24 can be maintained on a condition that the regenerator is operated in a highest efficiency.
