PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition for a film treatment capable of forming a film having good fingerprint resistance and a good electric conductivity, and also corrosion resistance by a simple method of applying it on the surface of an industrial material, especially a metallic material, and the industrial material having the film formed and dryed, by using the composition. SOLUTION: This aqueous composition for the film treatment is characterized by incorporating a smectite-based clay mineral and a complex compound of >=2-valent metal, and the industrial material having the film formed by using the above composition.
