PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a styrenic resin foam which reconciles heat insulating properties and flame retardance while using a blowing agent low in the environmental problem and is easy to produce. SOLUTION: The styrenic resin foam is obtained by heat melting a styrenic resin, adding a blowing agent to the melt, and subjecting the melt mixture to extrusion foaming, and comprises at least one 3-5C saturated hydrocarbon as the blowing agent and, at the same time, a halogen based flame-retardant, and a specific nitrogen-containing compound, and its manufacturing method is disclosed.
