PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial-up connection method which enables a user to select and use plural courses of different line qualities and connection rates set by a provider in accordance with each situation and also can dynamically change the balance between the line qualities and connection rates. SOLUTION: In this method, an authentication data base is used for allocating plural IDs to a single user and at least two or more IDs are issued to the user per contract. Thus, the user can freely select at least two or more courses of different line qualities and connection rates which are set by a provider and also the number of simultaneous connections can be limited in every course for setting up a distinction between the line qualities and connection rates.
