An attachment system methodology for quick and easy interchange of boom head configurations is shown. in the preferred embodiment, a quick hitch (115) is provided with a hook (113) at one end for mounting on a fixed pin (103) at a mower hitch post (104) while a second end (116) of the quick hitch is aligned with a second point on the mower hitch post for insrtion of a pin (119). This invention is partiuclarly applicable to interchanging boom heads used in the mowing and vegetation maintenance industry.
