PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program recording medium where a program to realize a commodity configuration device which supports commodity configuration in a higher degree is stored. SOLUTION: A database means (product information database) 10 manages a tree chart where restriction information of restrictions of commodity combination on a commodity as the object of configuration is added in the lower level of this commodity. A check means (configurer) 15 takes a selected commodity as the processing object in response to output of an output means (configurer) 15 to check whether the commodity as the object of configuration can be realized or not in accordance with the tree chart managed by the database means 10 and restriction information added to this tree chart.
