PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method capable of easily judging an image processing method suitable for acquiring a desired printed result at operation of printing, based on a character/photograph coexisting original or the like, without imposing labor or wasting printing papers. SOLUTION: The image data of a read original are reduced, and image processed in a photographic (error spread) mode, a photographic (dither) mode, and a pale tone mode or the like, and those respective image data are stored in an image memory, and outputted as multi-prints for trial on one printing paper P, by using the respective image data stored in the image memory. Then, the printed results of those respective image processing printed on one printing paper P are compared, so that an image processing method, which is most suitable for an original for acquiring the desired printed result can be recognized easily and accurately. Thus, it is possible to judge the optimal image processing method, by performing only one piece of trial printing per one time and, without imposing labor or wasting printing papers P. |
