CONJUGATE FALSE TWIST COVERED ELASTIC YARN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a conjugate false twist covered elastic yarn so as to provide a high level of softness without causing defective covering in a sheath part and to provide a method for producing the conjugate false twist covered yarn. SOLUTION: A polyamide multifilament false twisted crimped yarn 2 which is a raw yarn 2' for a sheath part is paralleled into a core/sheath form while drafting a polyurethane elastic yarn 1 that is a raw yarn 1' for a core part to carry out frictional type false twist texturing. The polyurethane elastic yarn 1 is used as the core part and the polyamide multifilament false twist crimped yarn 2 having at least twice false twist texturing histories as the sheath part is twisted and reversed to cover the periphery of the polyurethane elastic yarn 1. Thereby, a conjugate false twist covered elastic yarn Y having a yarn structure in which opened parts Y and entangled parts Ys are alternately formed in the yarn longitudinal direction and the number of the entangled parts Ys in the yarn longitudinal direction is 30-90 entangled parts Ys/18 cm is obtained.
